My name is TiffanyAnn Johnson (1L-1A) and I was the Founder and Chair of Communications of a college student division of The National Black Law Student Association at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I have also served on the Executive Board of the National Black Law Student Association as a Communications Fellow. In this role, I conducted all media outreach for National Convention securing coverage from 4 local outlets. I assisted in crafting and implementing a marketing strategy for the national convention, attracting over 900 attendees. Additionally, I grew the Facebook account by over 400 fans, Twitter by over 200 followers, and LinkedIn group by over 200 members. I also provided social media training to individuals and chapters to strengthen NBLSA online brand and deliver information to members. I have a passion for media and it’s broad ranging effects on society. I hope to grow Suffolk Media Law and expand our presence in the form of events on campus.
